![]() ![]() Is this even possible or am I fooling myself? I assumed this keyboard could loop a sequence but if it can, I'm eiether really dumb or it isn't in the operations manual. In super basic terms I want to hit one note have it record me playing that note and the 17 after then when I take my hands off the keyboard it auto loops that track. I thought I had it when I was in the arpeggiators section however it doesn't seem to be looping. There doesn't appear to be anything in there about looping a sound. HOW do I do this? I have read through the whole operation's manual twice and can't figure out a thing. ![]() I have a second synth next to em and I need to be able to play a different sound on that synth and sing while that pattern is continuing to loop. My goal is that when I am done playing that pattern I will take my hands off the keyboard and that pattern will continue to play without me doing anything. so that 18 note pattern are the only notes playing for the first few seconds of the song. I am the lead instrument on the start of the song. I have a gig this saturday and I need to play a 18 note pattern looped for the whole 4 and a half mintue song. I am attempting to explore some of those options, however I am having trouble. I am not incredibly experienced with some of the more in depth workings of the synth and what it can do. My favorite sample set for VST use is still the old Precisionsound Dusty Electric, which was sampled from a 1980 MkII Rhodes.I have the Korg X50. Even people who own original Rhodes can give widely varying opinions on the digital EPs, probably due to the fact that no two vintage ones sound exactly the same. Luckily, I have a friend with an SV-1 so I'm hoping to go test it out. "SV-1 is the best Rhodes emulation", "The EPs on the SV-1 are weak", "Nords are best", "Nords are lame", etc.) I think people just defend whatever unit they bought. Reading up about all the choices doesn't really help because you'll find every range of opinion for every board (e.g. ![]() It's hard to know which keyboard will sound "just right" to your ear until you sit down with it. Other modern Korg stuff I own has been solid. ![]() But I'm also concerned about the reports of quality issues. I know they've released some sound packs with additional patches. Kind've surprised there hasn't been an SV-2 or equivalent model released yet since the SV-1 concept is over 8 years old now. I'm also considering buying an SV-1 strictly for the Rhodes sounds. ![]()
